1. Overview

All goods must be paid for in full before dispatch. If paying by finance or instalments through a third-party provider (e.g., Klarna), you must comply with their finance agreement terms. 3. Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 24 hours of placing your order or before goods are dispatched (whichever applies first). This does not apply to special orders, custom-made items, or made-to-order products.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must email support@barkingfurniturestore.com with your order details. The withdrawal date is determined by your written declaration, not our response time.
4. Custom & Special Orders
Custom orders, special orders, or made-to-order products:

Cannot be cancelled once placed.

At our discretion, we may offer store credit of up to 50% of the order value.

Colours and materials may differ by 1–20% from images shown online due to variations in display settings, manufacturing, and materials.

To avoid misunderstandings, we recommend requesting physical samples or visiting our store before ordering.
5. Warranties

Most products include a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects.

Clearance, outlet, and reduced goods may have limited or no warranty, as stated in the product description.
6. Returns & Refunds
We comply with UK online selling law.

Goods must be returned in their original packaging and in a resalable condition.

Returns are not accepted if goods are used, assembled, or damaged during assembly.

You must inspect all items before assembly and send us images/videos of any damages. If you assemble the product without doing this, we accept no liability for damages.

Returns are at the customer’s expense. We recommend using insured delivery to protect against damage in transit.

We can arrange collection at a cost if a return is accepted.

Refunds or credits are issued only after inspection and approval.
7. Shipping & Delivery

If you request goods to be taken inside your premises, this is at your own risk. We are not liable for any damage or injury.

You must ensure access routes, passageways, and doorways are clear and wide enough before delivery.

If goods cannot be delivered due to insufficient access, returns will not be accepted.

If you have booked assembly, you must ensure adequate space before our arrival. If not, we will not assemble and a minimum £50 rebooking fee will apply.

After placing an order, if you cancel, a 50% cancellation charge applies.

We reserve the right to refuse delivery service if it is beyond our ability to provide a good standard of service or if the environment is unsafe or unsuitable.
Third-Party Services:
We are not responsible for damages, delays, or issues caused by third-party delivery or assembly services, even if arranged by us.
Missed Deliveries:
If you miss your agreed delivery slot without prior notice, a re-delivery fee will apply.
8. Dispute Resolution
We recommend contacting us directly by email with full evidence of your claim.
If you do not accept our decision, you may use a third-party dispute resolution service (costs may apply and may be your responsibility if our position is upheld).
